People should feel free to take what we roughly sketched out at http://seeclickfix.com/simple_pages/23 and add suggestions, comments or totally re-work it.  DC is also a very good start clearly derived from the municipal perspective.

We've been having conversations with cities and service request software providers about best practices but have not come to any definitive solutions.

As a citizen I don't want to choose from lots of categories and answer a lot of required questions. As a public works director I probably want precise information with out the clutter. If we can collaboratively build a standard that addresses both of these perspectives in a way that allows for easy to use inexpensive platforms to be developed around them then we have succeeded.</description>
